About Hague House
Where creativity meets craftsmanship
To provide musicians, producers, and artists with a professional, inspiring space to create their best work — combining world-class equipment, expert engineering, and a welcoming atmosphere in the heart of London.
Our Story
Hague House was born from a simple belief: every artist deserves access to world-class recording facilities — regardless of their budget, background, or career stage.
Founded in 2018 in the heart of Canary Wharf, Hague House started as a passion project by a group of musicians and engineers who wanted to create something different. We saw too many talented artists struggle to find affordable, professional studio space in London — locked out by sky-high day rates, minimum booking requirements, or studios that simply didn't feel welcoming to independent creators.
What began as a single room has grown into a four-studio complex, each space designed with meticulous attention to acoustics, equipment, and atmosphere. Our rooms have hosted everything from intimate singer-songwriter sessions and podcast recordings to full band tracking dates and DJ production workshops. Every studio is equipped with industry-standard gear, treated for pristine sound, and set up to feel inspiring from the moment you walk in.
Over the years we've had the privilege of working with over 1,200 artists — from bedroom producers taking their first steps into a real studio, to established acts polishing records for release. Along the way, we've expanded our offering to include professional mixing, mastering, music lessons, and a thriving DJ school.
Today, Hague House is more than just a studio — it's a community. Our team of engineers, producers, and session musicians work alongside artists at every stage of their journey, from first demos to chart-ready releases. We host regular events, collaborate with local labels and collectives, and constantly look for ways to give back to the music scene that made us who we are.
Our Mission
To democratise access to professional recording facilities, empowering artists at every stage of their journey to create, collaborate, and release music that moves the world. We believe that talent should never be held back by a lack of resources. Whether you're laying down your first vocal take or producing your breakthrough album, Hague House is built to give you the tools, the environment, and the support you need to make it happen.
Our Vision
To be London's most trusted and inspiring music studio — a place where emerging artists and established professionals alike feel at home, and where great music is made every day. We see a future where Hague House isn't just a place you come to record, but a creative hub that shapes the sound of the city. A space that champions diversity of genre, background, and experience, and sets the standard for what a modern studio should be.
Looking Ahead
We're expanding our reach with online education, artist development programmes, and strategic partnerships that bring the Hague House experience to musicians beyond our walls. The music industry is changing fast, and we're evolving with it — investing in new technology, new formats, and new ways to connect artists with audiences. The next chapter is just beginning, and we want you to be part of it.

What We Stand For
Our values guide everything we do—from how we design our studios to how we work with artists.
Uncompromising Quality
From our Neve consoles and Neumann microphones to our carefully tuned monitoring systems, we invest in the best equipment because your music deserves nothing less. Every room is acoustically treated to professional standards, and our gear is maintained daily so it's always session-ready.
Accessible to All
Professional recording shouldn't be reserved for major labels. We offer flexible pricing, hourly dry hire options, and packages designed for independent artists and small teams — so you can access top-tier facilities without breaking the bank.
Creative Freedom
We create an environment where experimentation is encouraged and no idea is too ambitious. Some of the best moments in the studio happen when artists feel free to take risks, try new sounds, and push beyond what they thought was possible.
Passion-Driven
Every member of our team is a musician first. We understand the vulnerability of the creative process, the thrill of nailing a perfect take, and the late nights that turn into magic — because we live it ourselves, every single day.
Results-Focused
Whether you're recording your first single or your tenth album, we're laser-focused on helping you achieve your vision. Our engineers bring technical expertise and creative instincts to every session, ensuring you walk out with something you're genuinely proud of.
Community First
We've built a thriving network of artists, producers, session musicians, and engineers who collaborate, share knowledge, and lift each other up. When you record at Hague House, you're not just booking a room — you're joining a community.
Our Journey
From a single room to a thriving music community—here's how we got here.
2018
The Beginning
Hague House opens its doors in Canary Wharf with a single recording room, a handful of microphones, and a mission to make professional recording accessible to every artist in London. Co-founded by a group of musicians and engineers frustrated by the lack of affordable, high-quality studio space in the city, the first studio is built from the ground up with acoustics, comfort, and creativity at the forefront.
2019
Growing Fast
Word spreads quickly through London's music community. Within a year we expand to two fully equipped studios, tripling our booking capacity and reducing wait times for returning clients. We also launch our music lessons programme, bringing on experienced tutors to offer guitar, drums, and music production tuition to students of all ages and levels — from complete beginners picking up an instrument for the first time to working musicians looking to sharpen their craft.
2020
Adapting & Thriving
When the world pauses, we pivot without hesitation. We introduce remote mixing and mastering services so artists can continue releasing music from home, launch virtual lessons over Zoom to keep our students progressing, and use the quieter months to invest in major facility upgrades — new monitoring systems, acoustic treatment, and an expanded microphone collection. The experience reinforces our belief that great studios must be resilient and artist-first.
2021
The Expansion
The biggest year in our history. We open Studio C and Studio D, doubling our capacity and introducing dedicated spaces for production suites, vocal recording booths, and content creation. Each new room is purpose-designed by acoustic consultants and fitted with top-tier equipment. Hague House transforms from a small independent studio into a true multi-room complex — one of the most versatile recording facilities in East London.
2022
Community & Collaboration
We deepen our roots in London's music scene by hosting our first community events — producer meetups, open mic nights, and collaborative writing sessions that bring artists together under one roof. We also begin partnerships with local labels and artist collectives, offering discounted rates and mentorship to up-and-coming talent. The studio starts to feel less like a business and more like a home for creators.
2023
DJ School Launch
We launch our comprehensive DJ school programme, bringing in professional DJs and electronic music producers to teach the next generation of performers. The curriculum covers CDJ, vinyl, and controller-based workflows, as well as music theory for DJs, live performance techniques, and building a brand in the digital age. The programme quickly becomes one of our most popular offerings, attracting students from across London and beyond.
2024
5,000 Sessions Milestone
A major milestone: Hague House celebrates its 5,000th recording session. We mark the occasion with a community open day featuring live performances, studio tours, and panel discussions with artists and engineers who helped shape the studio's journey. The year also sees a full facility refresh — new furniture, updated branding, and equipment upgrades across all four rooms — alongside a renewed public commitment to supporting independent artists.
2025
New Horizons
We enter our most ambitious chapter yet. Planning begins for a fifth studio room purpose-built for podcasting, voiceover, and spoken-word production. We announce our upcoming online masterclass series and begin developing an artist residency programme that will offer free studio time and mentorship to selected emerging artists each quarter. Hague House is no longer just a studio — it's a platform for the next generation of music.
What Our Clients Say
Don't just take our word for it — hear from the artists, producers, and students who've made Hague House their creative home.
“Hague House completely changed how I approach recording. The engineers understood my vision from day one and helped me build a sound I didn't even know I was looking for. I've recorded at studios all over London, and nothing comes close to the atmosphere and professionalism here.”
